Honey Bee FP2 Problems

After a lot of research I was excited to receive my first RC helicopter in June. I decided on the Honey Bee 2 FP which was highly rated for those new to the hobby. I made a point to sit down and run the simulator for several hours to get a feel for the controls. I then unpacked the helicopter, charged the battery, and conducted some preflight adjustments. My first few flights went well because I kept the helicopter slightly above ground moving forward, backwards, left and right (tail facing me). The first problem I encountered was that the helicopter kept drifting left; I could not move it right no matter how much I adjusted the settings. Life took over and I had to set it aside. I pulled the helicopter out yesterday and planned to work on the problem. Now I have something different. I cannot get the helicopter to recognize the transmitter. The little light blinks but does not turn green.

Any suggestions on either problem?

I had a Exceed Falcon 40 V2 same thing as a Honey bee.

Sounds like you need to bind the TX to the receiver althought I don't know why it would lose the bind in the first place.

Then you turn on the TX are you sure that the throttle stick is at full low power (off)?

For Esky 2.4GHz Transmitter

To unbind a transmitter:
1. Make sure the transmitters around you have been switched off. Connect the battery to the helicopter.
2. After connecting the battery, you can see the signal light of receiver blings slowly.
3. Use a small size screwdriver to press the switch inside the receiver. Hold it until you see the signal light blings quickly.
4. Now Disconnect the battery. You have unbinded the transmitter sucessfully.

To bind a transmitter:
1. Get ready your transmitter that want to bind. Make sure to turn everything low, so that it wouldn't get maximum power once switched on.
2. Put the transmitter aside, DO NOT TURN IT ON yet.
3. Connect the battery to the helicopter, you can see the signal light of receiver blings slowly
4. Now switch on the transmitter, wait for a few seconds
5. You will hear a few beeps, finish binding!

Thanks for those that responded to my Honeybee 2 problem. I took the helicopter to HobbyTowne in Frederick, MD where their helicopter guru spent time trying to fly the machine. Come to find out, the new controller is broken. Trying to return to Esky, but they don't have confirmation of my order. They are under the impression that i have to return the helicopter. If all works out, i'll return the controller and all will be fine. Keep your fingers crossed.

By the way, i purchased a new Blade helicopter and it seems to be working fine.
