|
|
HI all. Well, I've finally taken the plunge into a 6ch Esky Belt CP V2 and was also wondering, does ANYONE know if there are any cables I can use to attached my EK2-0406G Transmitter to the Mac so I can also get some good practice in on Heli-X when the days are too rough out there ? I know Esky has a Sim but it's only 4 channel and I've seen Heli-X and a couple of other GREAT looking sims but there seems to be no USB cable around to attach the Esky trans through.
Any ideas or info would be GREATLY appreciated.
Neil. |

As far as I know, the only simulation software available for the Mac is AeroFly. However, AeroFly only supports certain radios used in addition to their special USB interface:

There's a cable here that looks like it should work, but I can't make any guarantees as my only experience is with PC:

In regard to the Esky-brand simulator software, it looks like it's just FMS relabeled. Even though it only uses 4-channels from the transmitter, I believe you can still fly collective-pitch helis. |

Thanks for your help Nick. I've installed Heli-X as the Mac Sim seems to be a good one so far.
Thanks for that cable link too it sure would be handy as I've only ever seen negatives on the Esky FMS and need something a limitless more accurate and versatile too so I hope I can get this all together and get a good Sim setup going for those days I can't get out and fly.
Looking forward to a great week ahead for sure. (After a Belt Cp V2 head rebuild LOL)
