Does anybody know if you can charge the Blade 400 batteries with the CX2 charger or is it better to charge them with the 400 charger? I'm just wondering because it doesn't come with a power supply.

Hello drew15975,

It's definitely safer to charge the Blade 400 charger with the charger that comes with it.

But if you want to charge it with with CX2 charger here are the things you need to check:
1. The cell count has to be the same
2. The charge rate the battery can take has to be the same
3. Of course, the connection has to be the same as well.

Another option (a great one) is to get a new balance charger Smile

Why not just use the power supply that came with the CX2 with the 400 charger?

I wasn't sure if the power supply is going to work. The CX2 power supply has a 1.5 amp supply while the 400 supply has a 3A.

If the cell count is the same... as "Verthai" wrote, go ahead & use the CX2 110v power supply & charger on the 400 packs. It's just going to take a lot longer to charge the pack. Better off getting a good charger though, packs aren't cheap and the better you feed them the longer they'll last & longer flight times too. I just got a "E-Station BC5" balance charger and it has all sorts of goodies Very Happy Best of them is the optional temperature limit probe (optional acc). Just in case ya goof the charge rate the charger will shut off before the LiPo's set the house on fire. (It's happened!!!, not to me, but it happens)
