I have been reading alot of posts and noticed that there is alot of short form and terms that I don't understand. I dont know if i'm alone when some one talks about Tx, Rx, CCPM, HH, CP, FP, FF, ect and I have to go looking or just plain out go cross-eyed. I think there should be something that tells you what all these things stand for and what they do. I think it would make things easier for nubies like me to the hobby if there was a reference to all these. |

Tx, Transmiter
Rx, Reciever
CCPM, cyclic colective pitch movement (relates to the swash plate movments and mechanics.)
HH, Heading Hold (relates to the gyro)
CP, Colective pitch (relates to the blades changing pitch to create lift.)
FP, Fixed Pitch. ( lama's and cx's are fixed pitch) T-rex's are colective pitch. meaning that the lift is determined by the pitch of the blades and not just the speed of the motor.
FF, Forward flight
FFF, fast Forward Flight
any more??
Does this help? |
