Post subject: Volitation rotor parts |
|
|
Having a real hard time finding spares and replacements for the new Volitation. Need an upper rotor head and replacement blade. Think I'm missing the pin that holds the upper head in place, but unsure. Crashes tend to scatter small parts!
Anybody know of a bona-fide parts source? Received the parts diagram page with the helo, but no supplier address, no costs; and the original retailer is playing cat and mouse with me. |

Most the discount online helicopter sites don't seem to show any parts for this helicopter. Not xheli.com or any of the major web companies.

Thanks Jack.
XHeli has been the most helpful to date, they indicated they could special order the parts, but then no further communication. I'm thinking it'll take some time to get them in because the chopper's new.

WOOHOO! Looks like I might'a found the parts I need. I googled 'Double Horse 9053' instead of Volitation this time and EnjoyHobbies.biz came up. They appear to have the parts, order went thru and payment was with PayPal.
So far, so good. I'll post when I get the parts.
THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT! Just sharing info - don't have the parts yet! |

I always make sure that parts are available when I buy a helicopter. I've heard that xheli.com is good to deal with. All my helicopter's have come from them and I've always been able to get parts quickly. In fact now when I order a helicopter I always get blades, blade holders, extra batteries, gears and anything else I think I'll need. I've got enough parts to build another Falcon 40. I'm still waiting for a metal rotor head for the Falcon. I got the rest.
Check for availability to get parts before you buy a helicopter.
Be advised that enjoyhobbies is in China so you are going to probably
going to have a wait before your order shows up.

I know this is an old post, but I got the same helicopter as a gift, and just got a very good deal on parts from a vendor on Amazon. There were lots of different parts available on Amazon from several vendors. |
