Had a look at some heli models on ebay and came across the walkera cb100 .

Was wondering if anyone here can tell me if the tail is shaft/belt driver or weather the tail has its own motor.

Also, does anybody know how stable it flies? Thanks.

Here's a good review of it:

It does use a tail motor though (it looks like).

Yes I agree Smile

One thing I would love to see on helis of this size though is a tail that is either belt or shaft driver.

The thing with separate tail rotor is that the taill hold performance diminishes as the motor gets hot, and this happens no matter if the motor is brushed or brushless.

Also, a motored tail rotor can doesn't response as fast as a servoed one.

Ahhh ok point well taken. I didn't realize that was the issue on tail motor setups. I look forward to my next heli, it will be a belt drive for sure. I would like a 500, reason is that I found a nice Apache body kit for that size.
