I'm a newbie to copters, not to planes, and have tried many from DH 9104,9060, very durable, and several others to 4ch beginners. I tried the BH Contra which is the exact of Walkera V200D01, fly-bar less. From what I read, the BH Contra is not user friendly. I can hover for a bit and if I give it any direction input, it just goes bananas. Is the Walkera V200D01 as bad? I also have the CB180D and love flying it. I flew circles with it on the second try at the park.
I ordered some Walkera parts to convert the Contra to a fly-bar head, so I'll have some use for it and will have virtually two,CB180Ds. The parts are only about $40 and hope it will be flyable. Its either the conversion or $150 down the drain. I will use the BlitZwork radio and Rx as I like the extra function of the Blitz radio. Looks the same as the Walkera's with the fine tuning knobs, speed limiter and dual rate switch
Anybody try the BH Contra and if so, what changes or gyro settings have you made to make it manageable. Right now it is set as it came. _________________ KCF |

Hi lane here go for the v200d01 its a very good and stable flyer also it is shaft driven tail no tail motor to screw up in mid flight like the contra also the cb180z is the same only with fly bar. Your blitz tx will work with either one hope this helps. Lane _________________ first to the scene of the crash

I don't have any experience with any of those helis and the only Walkera's I do have are CP.
Walkera's quality can be iffy on their own (seems to vary depending on which specific model), so honestly the thought of a Walkera-clone terrifies me. It seems a shame to throw out the flybarless receiver and add a flybar, but whatever you have to do make it work I guess. These are the kinds of costs that can be avoided by purchasing a higher-quality bird from the start.
Anyway, I hope you find the settings you're looking for. And good luck in general! _________________ Align: Trex 250 3GX + Trex 450 Pro with Vbar
