The gain is how sensitive you want the gyro to be.
Most people set it up high to the point where the tail starts to shake a bit and then back it off a little.
The other setting is for the right and left tail movement.
If the heli spins clockwise then you turn the screw counter clockwise a little and then plug the battery in and test it again. If you have to make another adjustment, unplug it and turn the screw again, then plug it back in and test fly.
If your using a fresh battery, run it for about 45 seconds on high to take the battery down a bit before you start adjusting it.
It takes a bit of patience but take your time it's worth it. If you are adjusting the screw and wonder to yourself, "did I move it at all?" then you more then likely moved it just enough.
Also keep in mind that as you fly and the battery wears down a bit you will have to add some trim to the rudder to keep it straight, this is normal.
Hope this helps.

When Crashagin said "unplug it" I'd change that to read "UNPLUG IT Exclamation " First above all is for saftey, *
second is any changes made to the proportional mix (Pot) won't show up anyway till the bird is disarmed & rearmed.
*(went to fiddle with an armed Blade CP Pro once, Tx tipped over & the bird went idle up into my face Crying or Very sad )
