Post subject: Which cable to use for simulator and Blade 120 SR txmitter? |
|

I've ordered my Blade 120 SR, but want to also fly on a simulator as I'm learning to fly the helicopter. I'm unclear as to which cable I need to purchase to connect the transmitter to a USB port. Anybody know? |

A quick Google search turned this up:

I basically agree with the person who replied. And if you can't afford RealFlight, get Clearview and a cheap USB transmitter. _________________ Align: Trex 250 3GX + Trex 450 Pro with Vbar

Thanks guys. I'm really just getting the sim to help me learn how to fly the SR 120. My hope is that I can use the Blade's transmitter as it will likely be more life-like. Also, I wanted to go with either Clearview or Pre-flight or something in that price range.
After flying a toy coaxial and getting the bug, I decided to dabble a little to see if this was a hobby I really wanted to get into (hence the purchase of the SR 120), but I'm keeping my investment relatively small. That being said, I don't want to throw-away money so recognize the need for a simulator. If flying this copter and getting deeper into this hobby is something I decide I really enjoy and want to do, I'll upgrade my transmitter to a DX6i within the next few months. |
