Post subject: Which class of heli would you classify the Quark as? |

Hello well nice to see Quark pilots in this room. I am interested in the Quark also but has been (and still is) put off by it's outrageous price tag. But seeing it fly on youtube and live demons at shops etc.. I'm can see why it gets such high praise.
I'm also looking at the Gaui 200 and I heard T-REX is comming out with their own 250 heli. So I was wondering if you guys think the Quark is of the came class as those 200 heli or would you say 180 class or do you think it's even smaller? I mean I've never heard anyone put the Quark in a numerical class like other helis (eg. 450, 550, 600, etc..) |

I'd say the Quark is in a class of its own.. It's definitely smaller than a 200 class heli.. In fact, I was really surpised when I first saw how small it was, it's barely bigger than lamas and such. Seeing its photos and videos before I saw the real thing, I expected it to be bigger.
And it uses foam blades and all which other helis doesn't.... So I dont' think you can classify it as being 180 or 200 or something... Unless anyone knows how people are classifying lamas and such... |
