The only Mac-compatible simulator I'm aware of is AeroFly, and I've never used it so I can't comment on its quality.
Personally I use RealFlight on my PC, but as Tom mentioned Clearview is also good. _________________ Align: Trex 250 3GX + Trex 450 Pro with Vbar

Thanks Nick, tom gave me a link to a youtube video and the guy init was using his DX6i. The clearview looks pretty good to me I just need to figure out how to hook it to my TX. Where to get the usb cable. There's a few different ones on Amazon and ebay. Since I use a mac my first step is to go get a pc. Thanks again Nick.

RealFlight came with a USB transmitter so I've never had to hook up my real transmitter. But a quick Google search turned this up, the third reply is from a Clearview developer, so I assume his info is good:

I use Aerofly as well as ClearView, but Clearview is my model development software of choice. The Aerofly models are great but difficult to programme. The scenes are no better than ClearViews'. I only spend some 10% of my model sim time on Aerofly (if that much). Knowing what I know now I would not have got Aerofly.
The third guy down on that link is the top support ClearView man. A reply from him follows never more than 24 hrs after a request often in minutes! I have never seen free support like it anywhere at any price.
