I was looking to buy a Phoenix RC flight simulator, without the transmitter, but with the spectrum cable for the Dx6i. Seems no one has it in stock. Reluctant to put on back order as its made in the UK and don't know how long the wait would be. Any ideas of where to buy one, and who would have the best price.

Have you tried eBay? A lot of times things that are out of stock are still avaliable there.

You could try the main site here, if they don't have stock then I would be very surprised.

The cable that comes standard with Phoenix will fit the DX6i.
I don't know where your located but it only took 4 working days for me to get it from the UK.

Agreed there NMGeezer, if every one would fill in their locations it would help a lot. I keep finding that most people do not live in Portugal like me, or always in the States.

Anyway, 4 days from UK is a better sevice than I ever get, I think the Lisbon/Algarve donkey train has run out of carrots!

Can't use trucks, the track gets a little narrow at times. This is a modern bridge, one of the safest in the area.

Hi Tombo

It was actualy faster service than ordering from a different state in the US.
I saw a picture of your place on another thred. The view you have is well worth the slow service Cool

The states is probably the best place to get one. Phoenix is very popular over there and prices are a lot lower. The trouble is second hand copies are retaining their value because sellers know they will get the money asked. I saw a copy of Phoenix suddenly appear on the US Ebay site and by the time I put a Buy it Now on it the darned thing had already been grabbed. The seller reckoned it lasted 2 minutes before being sold. Even with the freight added I wouldn't be surprised if you could find a cheaper Phoenix in the US than where you are. It's usually pretty quick as long as you don't choose sea mail.

Hi Bluedog,

Do you have any links for this?

My link to the UK site (post above) quotes $199USD. The U.S. Red Rocket Hobbies Shop quotes $129.99USD. Then you have to consider delivery, often far more from the states, and the fact that some US guarentees are not valid outside of the US. My advise is look carefully before you leap.
