The Extreme 850mah doesn't but the others are stock batteries. For the 850 I had to add four tiny washers between the skids and frame to open up the battery tray. Oh yeah I also had to get some longer screws to remount the skids. The screws that hold the skids on were just a tiny little bit short. Easy fix. I saw that on a youtube video. I think it was called 4 must do upgrades for the lama. Rather interesting.

Thanks Tom, was curious especially on the 850. All 3 of my BOL's have the longer skid mount screws due to mods such as cam mounts etc.... On my Brushless conversion I used the battery box that mounts bottom side with the Super Skids to accept the bigger batteries. Wink My stock ships have the battery mods (battery moved forward 50-60%) and if I added washers to accept larger mah batteries the stock ones would be way too loose and shift forward and wobble around in place.

That is true. Maybe lots of velcro? Still no motors yet but the estimated delivery date was between Aug 1 and Aug 7 so they still have a few days yet.

Tom how do you like your mcpx? OI was looking at getting one until I get my 500 CP in the air just to keep up on my CP skills until I saw the new 130X that's out and i8t looks really nice with the direct drive (tail) and all.

Its ok. A really fun heli to fly but I'm not into 3D heli so its more a practice thing to keep my thumbs limber. Also its really touchy. For me anyway. Most people dont seem to have the trouble flying it like I do. I like the MSRX better. Its fun and faster than all get out. Too fast for me but I do like it. Easier to repair also.

Thanks Tom. I fly CP, but don't have a ship in the air right now. Hope to have the 500 in the air soon. I'm not into 3D myself. I flew real copters and don't ever remember doing tic tocs and inverted flights lol Wink Fun to watch, but that's as far as it goes for me. I like the new 130X out so may bypass the mcpx. I may try something with it, but not my bigger ships. Crashes are too expensive just to fly upside down Wink

Helicopters arn't suppose to fly upside down. The MCPX is fun dont get me wrong its just too touchy for someone with my low skill level.

I was wondering if youuse the stock blades or the extreme brand hardened blades. I have both. The extreme blades are a little more durable and rubbery but a tad bit heavier. Still no new motors yet. The due date was from Aug. 1 - Aug. 7. I'll give them another day or so.

Tom, the stock blades should be fine really. Cheaper too. Shipping from China varies for me. Just depends on how fast the "slow boat" is and if your item "takes a nap" in customs here in the U.S. They'll make it Wink

Yeah I figure they'll get here sooner or later. Put a second coat of clear on the military Lama today and still no decals I like. I even tried to buy a Revell plastic model. They fell through also. Oh well tomorrows another day. Got a question for ya. My second Lama still has a serious vibration problem. I'm thinking about just taking it apart and cleaning all the parts, checking that the shafts are straight, blades are balanced again and go from there. Don't really know what else to do with it.
