I have added nose weight, adjusted to max. servo travel extension, and still not enough forward movement. I know it is not an outdoor copter and I fly it only early mornings when weather is calm. Besides going for that $90 "upgrade " hype, which I wont do, any other tricks you tried that work?
In the process of getting a 450 kit for outdoors, but now I'll have to learn cp flying. |

Are you saying something is wrong and it flies backwards faster than forwards? Or are you just unhappy with its speed in general? |

I noticed the forward speed as I fly in that direction most of the time. I only fly backwards when I have to hit the brakes and not collide with something and it does that ok. Will do some distance in reverse and see how that is. In general just wondering if there is a trick to get a little more speed. So, forward is what I'm complaining about, but then it is a small chopper. |

Gotcha. It may just be that you've pretty much already pushed it to it's limits; I don't know of any other FP speed tricks anyway.
If you force it to lean too far forward, the flybar may not be able to do it's job and become unstable or even un-flyable.
Normally when people are frustrated with the performance of their heli, and there isn't a problem with said heli, it's time for the next step. In your case I know you're already working on getting a CP, so I won't nag on you. |
