Post subject: Cheap Flight Sims ? |
|
|
Hello all,
I'm new to RC and am slowly learning. I've been looking for a flight sim easy enough for my 8 and 10 year old as well as me. Not looking for anything all that expensive either. My problem is that most inexpensive flight sims are not Vista compatible. Any ideas?? |

Hi giantdvl,
I run ClearView on my Vista 64 bit system with no problems at $39.99 USD as a one-off lifetime fee, I think that it is a real bargain, excellent support and extra models (including some of mine) are available for free on the site. There is also a lively ClearView Forum.
A fair free one is HeliSimRC, but models are limited and you're on your own with it. I found it looked good until I tried ClearView, when I realised why it was free. Much better than FMS (also free) for helis though.
