Haven't been around for awhile and live a bit off the beaten path, so here's my question-Is there much difference between the HBK2 and 3?

Hi derekby,
There has been some significant major improvements in the new Honeybee King 3,
Built in brushless motor new head lock gyro and digital servos upgraded battery from 1000mah to 1500mah, major improvements in the radio system,
belt driven tail for better performance slipper clutch to help avoid damage, to name a few.
In my opinion looks real nice, there may be slight favouritism here due to the fact I brought one about a month ago.
Hope this helps.

I'm also the proud owner of a king III,the only thing I can recommend is upgrading the frame with a carbon fiber one,it looks awesome and adds strength to the whole heli, and did the conversion after I broke my frame trying to remove the battery .

Hi frank26all,
Thank you for sharing your carbon fiber frame photos with us,
You should be proud it looks stunning. I know the frame on the Honeybee King III, do tend to break very easily,
Thought I broke mine when it got stuck up a tree, the motor and the main gear was not touching.
Luckily the motor had just moved a little, but if my frame does break instead of replacing it with the standard frame, I will defiantly upgrade to the Carbon Fiber now.
