Dude! I was so scared my hands were shakin', I think you can see it in the heli, lmao. But check it out!!!! I'm done with the Training Gear! The difference is friggin' amazing, very scary, like a wild animal tryin' to get away, but really fun!!!! In a very scary way....All I cud think about is...."don't crash, don't crash!!!! No more replacement parts on hand!" Yeah, the landing sucked but, no dmg, I was just happy it got down in one piece, will do better tomorrow!.... Is it tomorrow yet?...Can't wait, Hmmm, maybe can fly at night...?

You got it. I told you it's like a light switch being turn on. Your an RC Helicopter pilot. Now just keep flying and you'll get better and better every day.
Good show. I also told you that it flies better without the added weight of the gear.

Thanks Jack!!!!
Yes you did, but...but...I liked my safety blanket!!! what will I do now?
Man, my battery wasn't even used hardly, the Training Gear allowed me maybe 3 minutes flight, I put this Batt on charger and it was charged in like 3 minutes, lol. Another thing, I have the rudder so spot on that I keep lookin' to make sure it isn't in Rate mode, lmao, not braggin', it is because of Crashagain that it is like that, so..I can't take the credit, but, I dunno what to do with my thumb now, I was used to it kinda helpin' me along with the cyclic motions, now it's like something is missing, but..I will get used to it real fast, lol. Also it really does help to watch the rotor head, I have to get used to that but when I did I noticed that the heli calmed down. Thanks for that.

WOO HOO!!!!!! Look at you fly.. Awsome job.
See how much better it is with the tail dialed in??
Don't worry about what to do without rudder input, you will be using it real soon. Trust me. After you get about a dozen of those hovers down pat, you will be starting to turn the heli a bit and moving it from side to side.

First flights w/o training gear on really gets the old heart pumpin and thumbs weak, don't it! It'll get easier before you know it and it'll be time for side in hover then nose in then idle up... (Idle up is a little scarey, but the heli will fly way better) For some reason most guys (myself included) find left side in feels natural but right side in feels harder. Go figure?

Oh man, it has been awhile since I felt that type feeling of excitement (almost like trepidation), and then it wasn't for fun. This was actually a good feeling, but it was exactly like you say, my hands were weak!! I just know the heli was reacting wierd cuz I wasn't smooth in my hands, lol. I am gonna do like you said earlier and go to a bigger place, got a lil' park by a school only 2 minutes away, big open field and/or a asphalt parking lot, the grass there is cut way shorter than mine, I think it is Bermuda instead of St. Augestine, will be much better.
Side In huh? hmmm, are you right handed? I am a Lefty, big time, sometimes I think about switching the sticks around on my Tx, I would fly much better! But..prolly overall, it is best just to keep it the way it is. I bet Right Side In will be easier for me, lol.
Anyhoo, Thanks for all your help DT, and advice!!

Fantastic! You found the button, man.
Wasn't the kind of landing you were hopin' for? Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing; and if the aircraft is still flyable, it's a GREAT landing.
