Quote: | My LHS charged me $ 62.00 for a B400 1800 mah 15c e-flite battery. I was not paying attention. When I got home I was really pi$$ed. That's the last battery I've gotten from the LHS. |
Holy cow! I bet you were. My LHS charges $55 for the 2200mah Eflites, $86 for Thunderpower.... Amazon charges $56 for Thunderpower, but long wait.
I did notice Xheli is totally out of Batts 'cept for these, so far, so yes gonna order a few. Thx alot for the headsup!!!!! |

Trouble:
Xheli is already out of the 2200, 2650 and 3000 mah batteries. They sold out in less than 5 days. I knew they would. Lipo batteries at that price will go in a hurry.
I ordered mine on 8/20/1020. Glad I did.

The battery I was talking about was the little 4AA pack that comes with most radios for the receiver.
When you are setting up your bird you only need to drive the servos, nothing else. I have found that if you use your ESC, that it sometimes gets pretty warm if you have it on for a while.
If you have a hobby store nearby, they should be able to sell you one for under 10 bucks. |

Sorry for bein' late here, ...I see what you are sayin' Crash, really good idea, in fact you were right bout the LHS, went and got a couple for that very reason after readin' your post, thx!!
Also, "heard" that the "C" rating is an important something you should be looking for, something to look for in the future for me when I buy more batts

Yep, the higher the "C" the more bang your gonna get out of your pack.
I was running 35-45C packs in my 450 and they rocked!!!!! |
