Hiya guys Very Happy
Well, I did it Shocked I could type ya a long wall of text on why I decided this but..hmmm, maybe I will...lmao, as you know I just got a new B400, and have not even flown it yet...been doin' tons of Simming and trying to set it up right and learning all I can. I decided I need another heli, just in case Rolling Eyes I was gonna get a EXI 450 and build it up the right way using all Align parts (100% compatible) then I happened across this http://www.heliproz.com/prodinfo.asp?number=315076 And thought, "Well Heck, there it is! and it ain't $499.00 it is actually $435.00"
I "think" it has everything to fly except the TX, which I have in the DX6i.
In my lil' pea sized brain I thought this is a great deal! So... I hopefully will be getting it this week. I still think building one from scratch is a very good idea for someone like me, hopefully I would learn a Heckuva lot!!! And i'm going to, but..I just thought this was too good to pass up.
Drat, the one thing I forgot to get is a dang Batt..!!! AArrggghh!! Ok, nvm, I will order a couple right now, So, I can immediately take it outta da box and fly like a pro in 2 minutes
As far as the batts go, any suggestions? I don't think I need the super duper ones at this time, or... and is there anything else that a Brand new trex owner might need that I unbeieveably cannot think of? No, this is my Main Heli, I will not be "learning/training" on this, at least til I can do figure 8s' at least, ..or is that not right? (Man, I am so proud of me not being so wishy-washy and being so strict in my decisions.... Shocked )

You are not going to be dissapointed, in fact I promise you that once you fly it, you will put your 400 on the shelf. These are amazing heli's.
While your waiting for it to come in, go here and download these videos, study them, and when you get your new baby in, you will have a head start on putting her together.

Good show trouble. I'm jealous. I love to see a high roller at work.

You said 'I "think" it has everything to fly except the TX, which I have in the DX6i'. You will need to get a DSM2 receiver. I got one from (AR6110E)TARGET.COM for $ 12.99. Or you can get on EBay and get one for $ 40.00 if you don't want to wait for mail from China.

That's a super sweet helicopter your getting. If you decided to put your B400 on the shelf like crashagain said send it to me. I love B400's. I send you my wife's dog and a future draft choice.

Trouble:

Just saw your last post. Get the Spektrum AR6110E receiver. Or a AR6200E. They are compatable with the DX6I TX. In fact they are made for the DX6I. Xheli just got a big shipment of good batteries in. 2200 mah, 2650 mah and 300 mah priced right. I bought 6.
3 2200 mah 30c and 3 2650 mah 25c. $ 19.95 and $ 21.95. I will have to put deans plugs on them but that's not a big deal.

Trouble:

The B400 batteries are good but they are just 1800 mah and 15c. That's weak me thinks.

I just got some new batteries thei week from China but had to wait almost 6 six. They are 2200 mah ans 30c to 50c and they were just $ 14.95 each. But the wait just killed me.

Xheli sent me an email like they did to millions of others that they now had batteries. And they are priced at China prices. They will not last long. I'll bet they are gone in two weeks. If they are still available you should jump on the 2200mah batteries. They are good for the B400 and a T-Rex 450. I bought some 2650 mah's but they are going to be heaver and will require more horse power to lift. That might defeat the bigger power? don't know. Just thought while they were available ant at that price I'd try them.

Trouble:

Here's a picture of the new China (Hobby King ) batteries I got. They are super good batteries. and cheap!

You can see they are the same size and the B400 1800 mah batteries but are 2200 mah and double the c rate.

Hey Jack, I went to Xheli and this is what I found for the 2200mah
http://www.xheli.com/77p-2200mah-3s1p-111-30c.html I messed up my other post...need to slow down here...
If these r what u were talkin' bout then heck ya, i'm gonna buy'em out, lmao....I ordered a Thunderpower from Amazon for like $57.00 but..said will receive between sept 7-14th...?....grrrr, too long to wait for me. LHS says they have E-flites 2200 for 55.00....but if those from Xheli are just as good as Eflite....dang, didnt really realize the Batts were so dang expensive...
Oh yea, Jk is right, imo=in my opinion
Sorry, residual effect left over from my gaming addiction....but i'm much better now

Yes trouble. Those are the batteries that will be much better than the B400 stock battery. Those have a higher mah rate and a double the c rate than the stock B400 battery. If xheli still has them you need to jump on them before they are gone. I'm sure they will sell out ASAP.

Xheli has been out of batteries for so long I can't remember when they had any.

My LHS charged me $ 62.00 for a B400 1800 mah 15c e-flite battery. I was not paying attention. When I got home I was really pi$$ed. That's the last battery I've gotten from the LHS.
