G'day gents from a wet but warm Wales. The forum becoming rather like a bar with no beer or tumble weeds, even spot the spam has tailed-off.

I recently purchased two Zippy Compact LiPOs and believe they perform much better than the Turnigy nan-tech, least-wise better than the ones I've had.

Which brand of LiPOs have you all found perform best to your liking?

Hi Burgess,

Yeah it's odd getting excited about spam as some activity.

Batteries I normally use Turnigy Blues and have had great success with them, I have some four years old that are still capable of being used, I only use them on the bench when setting up etc. The only Turnigy Nanotechs that I've had any real success with are the S6 1300 mAh the others have puffed early.

Last batch of S3 2200 mAh that I bought were Zippy and they are performing very well I'll probably buy more.

I'd go along with that Admiral,

I have a few Zippys and they do perform well. On the other hand I have 4 Mystery batteries that I bought back in March 2009 for my B400 and they still power my 450 Quad or the B400 with energy to spare.

I think it's how you look after them that really matters, mine are always balanced at storage level after flight and never charged the night before day use.

Re: Spammers, I have reported 2 to Silhouette in recent days. I keep an eye on them I hate the SEO operatives. Twisted Evil

I think its the way you take care of them that truly matters, mine are constantly adjusted at capacity level after flight and never charged the night previously day utilization.

3 months later and almost my words datta, but you don't say what batteries you use. The question Burgess asked was "Which brand of LiPOs have you all found perform best to your liking? "

Can you tell us?

Tom.
