Perhaps Crashagain will come in on this one (he flies a nitro heli as well as electric), but it sounds like the gyro settings not the servo to me.
How are you calibrating the gyro? |

If you are on a budget, Align DS650 is a good servo. If you want the best, JR8900G, (my personal favorite).
Is your motor tuned correctly, if not this will cause twitching of the tail and kicks. The gyro does not like any vibration.
Instead of foam pad on your gyro look into ZEAL tape. Thicker, stickier and better..
You say that when you move the rudder the servo does not return to center, this is normal.
When you are in HH mode and you move the rudder stick the servo will stay where you left it. It's going to hold the heli there.. If you are in rate mode then the servo will move back and forth like any of the other servos on you heli..
I set up my gyro to a gear switch on my radio so I can toggle from HH to Rate mode. When you carry your heli to the flight line it's moving all around and the tail is not centered when you spool up, causing the heli to spin for a bit. If you set down the heli, toggle the gear switch, then spool up, the heli will stay put.
What Gyro are you using? And what servo do you currently have now? |

I can't find any info on your parts, but what I did find on the net would lead me to recomend you get a new gyro and servo. The stock ones are not that good. The buzzing is not right, it should not make any noise at all. Even if it is digital. I am running an 8900G on mine and it is silent once the gyro initializes.. |
