Hi guys found out this week that Hobbytown had opened a store about 30 min. from home. Up to now LHS had been on line. I was like the kid in the candy store. After talking with the specilist I purchased a MQX bnf and a DX6I. After 10 min. worth of instructions i was able to bind the little quad set the dual rate and expo. The DX6I is so much easier to program than the Walkera TX (2801pro devo7) got the one with 3 extra receivers so I can convert my humble fleet over to a TX I somewhat understand how to operate. Since I seem to be the last guy on the forum to get a spectrum TX I know all the help in the world is just a post away... thanks in advance for the futher help I will be asking for. Lane

Let us know how the quad works out. I've been thinking about one of those.

Hi Jack this thing is so much fun, I've set d/r 60% elev & airl expo at 25% flies really nice, flip the airl & elev switch and this thing goes from a cessna to a F18. Nice thing is wind is not your enemy, flys fine in light breezes.Try one I'm sure you'll like it. Lane

Yep, the MQX is a blast to play with and can take a crash very well Embarassed . I've had more then a few "Sky to Earth Incursions" over the few weeks that I've been flying mine and haven't had to replace one part, not even a prop.
The stock Tx isn't all that good, so you made a good choice there laneritc. A programmable Tx + the MQX is a real winner in my book.

I sounds like you have a battery that has been run below the proper voltage. Lipo battiers are funny about that. The batteries are pretty cheap for that model helicopter. I'd get another battery and try it. Besides you really need more than one battery for battery operated toys.
