I think that you will have to use a 'Screen Grabber' to turn the recording into one of the Youtube formats (mpg or wmv is good). It will then upload and show.
That's what I did for this Israeli Kfir that I made for ClearView.

The record feature in RealFlight outputs the video in a weird format that YouTube doesn't recognize
You could probably find some software that will convert the video format after the fact, but instead I use a separate recording program called FRAPS that automatically outputs to .avi. It's free, lightweight and has been used by gamers reliably for years.

That's what I mean by a 'Screen Grabber' Nick, just wanted to leave the choices open. I use 'WM Capture', tried Fraps but kept getting caught by the 30 sec limit for the unregistered version.
