Thats pretty cool Tombo. I use to fly control line when I was a kid back in the early 60's. I use to see those at the hobby shop. I had a Cox trainer. The blue and yellow plastic one with the .049 motor that would whack your fingers when you tried to start it if you didn't move fast enough. Thanks Tom

Hi Tombo, I gotthe Wee Jack in the list of heli's on CV now but I think it's in stealth mode. I have smoke and sound but can't see the heli yet. If I keep going I might even figure something out here. I also want to try the Vulcan Bomber. I use to live on a RAF base in Fairford, Eng. Always wanted to go back but dont know if I'll ever get the chance. Thanks Tom.

Hi Tom,
Wee Jock is an electric heli, I haven't programmed in any smoke, but it does work and is there to fly when properly installed.

Howdy Tombo, Well I still haven't got the wee jock to work for me yet. I did get a file open marked images. so I guess I'm one step closer. It looks pretty cool. I love little coaxial helis. I'm gonna keep trying. I'm hoping my nephew will come over this weekend he's a regular computer wizard. |

Howdy Tom,
The folder 'Wee Jock' after unzipping, goes into the ClearView 'models' folder. Usually C:\ClearViewRC\clearview\models. Make sure that there is only one folder called 'Wee Jock' and immediately inside it are the 'data', 'wavedata' folders and a few other files.
It should work. That's where mine is. Any more probs, PM me and I'll send you a 'Tried & Tested' copy.

Hey Tom, howdy. I too am having trouble with cv and my dx6i .Can't get it to calibrate on w7 ,is it because it's a 32 bit system or is it the adaptor cable [think it's a jr ] as it has a single jack plug between the tx and usb plug. All my tx's are the same ,none of them will work .Regardless of the connection type. What am I doing wrong.? Very frustrated.Regards dave. |

Howdy Dave, I got my cable from toms rc. It works pretty good. And only about $10. Then I set up a seperate model just for the sim on my DX6i. Look on the CV forum they have some help there also.

In the Clearview program, what parameter can I modify to make an airplane more crash resistant? I downloaded a third party model that crashes when it should bounce. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
