That's easy, strip it down completely and place all the parts in a box and give the box a good shacking, then turn the box upside down and the faulty part will fall out...Sorry about that, just couldn't resist. The only way to eliminate these ubiquitous problems is to not support the retailers who put these things on the open market. You see, the design was only ever intended for the very little 3.5 channel toy grade helicopters. Any way, check the gear to drive shaft, and the screws fixing the rotor housing to the drive shaft. Seriously, why not purchase a proper hobby grade helicopter, have a look at helipal.com and see what's available. Or have a look at Hobbyking.com.

Ok sorted, found the faulty part Wink
Main gear b and main shaft a (part no: 8500/8501-11) should be fixed,
On this it seems the shaft has melted the plastic gear cog and came apart...

About £8 to get a replacement part...

(Agreed when taking this apart it's very cheaply made)

Well done, having fun is what it's all about and you need a sense of humour when learning to fly RC helis. A pair of 36 inch diameter rotors must look impressive.

Bad luck, but that event demonstrates the lack of controllability is the major problem with a heli of that size and design.
As I said before, that design was only ever intended for very small helis.
Increase the size and problems ensue.
