Post subject: T-REX for Realflight G3.5 -- Where can I get them? |
|
|
Two questions.
I bought a T-REX recently and have been having a blast with it! Can't believe they're so responsive! Before I bought it, I've been training on the Realflight G3.5 Simulator using the Impala .30 as my model. Now I realize that the Impala doesn't feel like the real T-REX at all! I was wondering if anyone knows how to get a T-REX model for it. I know there are some mod ones that people made, but is there any official ones? A friend of mine who files the minititan would like to know if there's one for his model as well.
The next question is that I am wondering if anyone has tried the Phoenix simulator. My friend told me that T-REX comes included! Is the Phoenix any good?
Thank you in advance. |

Try knifeedge's swap page. There's a really good t-rex by this guy called Yogi. It should feel quiet close to the real thing. There are no official T-REX 450 model for realflight as far as I know of.
Here's the link: http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/downloads.php
I use this: T-Rex450-1_EA
Haven't seen phoenix yet. Has anyone? |

I downloaded the files, but not too sure where to put 'em. I can't seem to find any other files with the same extensions. Am I having a brain fart, or just a dufus ? |

You can download the file to anywhere in your computer (like my documents for example) and in Realflight go to File -> Import and find the file from there. |

That did the trick. Thanks for your help. I've downloaded a whack of 'em and having a hoot. Of the three sims, G4 if by far superior, not only in realism, but also in additional features. I'm impressed. It was worth the money. |
