I take it they're all much of a muchness in the ranks of blue...

What's your favourite, where do you get it, and how long does it last once opened?

It's all cheap enough, but out in the French sticks (excuse pun) it's all by internet purchase, and postage is often ridiculous. I've found a 6ml tube for €6 with free delivery from HK - so that may be OK.

Zap Z-42 (Blue Medium)

Lock & Seal Blue Threadlock

Loctite 243

Force Threadlock Blue

Abrolock/Everbuild Blue.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Edit: I notice that some threadlock comes in little tubes. As it's supposed to be anaerobic i.e. goes off without oxygen present, how does it survive in the tube?

Here you go John Blue Thread Locker $4.62 + $2.99 shipping (both USD). (You could get other things delivered for the same shipping as it's for up to 100g.)

As it's lack of oxygen that makes it set, tubes/bottles are only 1/2 full. I have some red Loctite 20 years old and it still works on the cars.

Tom.

Magic, Tom. For €10 carriage I can throw in two 3s 2200 Turnigys* and still have 250g to spare.

I was on the HK site earlier, but was looking for 'Loctite', hence no result!

Thanks again. Very Happy

* I'd like to get the lipos early for the Tarot, but apparently the canopy may be a bit slim and anything over 2500mAh may not fit. Can't find any measurements for the frame, so will wait.
