Hi I'm going to purchase my first RC chopper. I have after much research and lots of help on this site Opted for a co-ax 4 channel Because I wanted an entry level heli with pro-hobby options and upgradeable quality without spending a lot of money.
So I decided on the Lama V3 but here's the problem. I noticed that Esky also has a lama v4. Is this a newer better version of the lama. is it a must have, or should I stick with the trusted quality of the V3. Or is the V4 a newer better product... HELP!!!!!! HELP!!!! |

I personally like the V4 better. It looks better and I think you should go for the newer model because eventually support for older version might decrease. |

I casted my vote for the V4. Not only because it looks better (which I think it does) but from having flown both (although not necessarily owning them  ) I think the newer V4 design is more wind resistant. I don't know if it's just me but in flight it really does feel like it's more wind resistant. Maybe it's the more aerodynamic body that does that...
No scientific proof though. |

Well this is probably just me but I like the looks of the V3 better. It seems more classic and more "realistic".
Also, there should be more mod parts of the V3 since it has been around longer. |
