Hi all Sim operators.
I have the Clearview Flight Sim and I think that is one of the best sims I have seen and I am very pleased with it.
I'm about to purchase a Blade 450 RTF 3D and wonder if the DX6I transmitter that comes with the helicopter is able to connect to my Laptop computer to run my Clerview flight simulator ?.
Still waiting for 120sr Tail rotor motor. Sounds like that motor is a weak link in this heli.

I've never used Clearview, but a quick google turned this up: http://clearviewrc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=628
There might be a simpler way, its no where near that complicated on RealFlight anyway.
Usually the problem with tail motors is tail-blowout; and in that regard the 120 SR is impeccable, even with a full throttle pump the tail holds almost perfectly. I've yet to have one just suddenly burn out on me, but it does stick out in the open making it susceptible to crash damage. |

The problem with using the DX6I as a tool for the Clearview Sim is that you will run down your batteries. It will work but a poor choise for a Trainer box.
You can purchase a TX box that runs on a USB port of your computer. Get a 6 Channle trainer TX. They are very cheap, Like between $20.00 and $25.00 US. It will also save wear and tear on your DX6I.
I also use Clearview Sim. It is great. |

OK on that PJDOG.
Glad you jumped in there , I did buy the control box recomended by Clearview from Xheli so just waiting for it to come to my door.
I got shot down due to tail moter that went caput so loosing airtime can't wait
to get out there again. The weather has been great for flying, I will have a spare
motor on hand just incase if it ever happen again.
Make those rotors spin. |
