I have seen somehere a writeup on the modifications that are required and the transmitter programming so that the Walkera 4#3B will fly with a Spektrum dx6i 2.4 DSM2 system:?

It is clear that the rx will have to be replaced.

Has anybody seen such a writeup or a video??

Thanks

zvi ask elias he has helped me with some thing s in the begining and you got me with the specktrum as i dont use them i know he does and with his 43s you`ll have to change the rx im sure. http://www.youtube.com/user/EliasGourvelos
also i know some tricks to make the rx more sensitive its the pot on the side with the led turn on and bind then turn to postive it will give the servo more throw with less stick , please give this set up a chance before making huge changes its a very touchy bird, especially the blue thunder(i just got my motor monday holy crap lets just say its a whole new heli) i dont want you to spend money and time if you dont have too i have it sux,
also now that i think of it eli use`s different servos too im pretty sure the factory servos wont link to a specktrum rx
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_power_search.asp?search=tg9 it may be these i know its the same brand im just making educated asumtions so ask eli (and dont call him eli i never have)hes in AU so you time diff will be nuts its 11hrs diff to here .

Tim,

Thanks for your reply.

I am still waiting for the heli. So I can not make any modifications anyway.

I agree with you - There is no reason to replace anything if it works.

Just thinking.... Sometimes it gets me into trouble Smile

Tim,

Something bad happened to my WK-2401. When I charged it I forgot to take off the battery cover. The result the battery holder and cover deformed and I lost 8 rechargeable AA batteries. So I know have to use the transmitter with an extension cable.

A new transmitter costs 30-50 USD plus shipping and tax it will cost 50-80 USD.

A transmitter compatible with the DSM2 technology (Spektrum dx6i) is 60 USD.
