Post subject: Wireless USB or Long Cable Available? |
|
|
I'd really like to use a sim (Phoenix or ClearView) on my large screen TV but the distance from the TV to the seating area is about 10 ft - longer than most Tx>USB adaptor cables. Anyone know if there is a wireless solution available (preferably Bluetooth) or alternately an extra long USB adaptor cable? |

Some computer stores stock a USB extension lead, may be just what you need. No good me giving you my store - it's in Portugal! |

Radio Shack and Best Buy have extensions. Wireless USB sounds like the way to go! |

Is there a wireless option? Like a PS3 wireless controller?

Well happy birthday Tom,
Could do with a little more info i.e. Does the controller register as a PPM in windows? If not we might be in trouble here.

Howdy Tombo, the PS3 controller just shows up in the controller list in clearview settings as "Pro EX" thats it's name. I got the controller working but it's in the ClearView program that you set the rate and expo. Under settings. Says easy something. Just like setting up the paramaters in the DX6i. I set the rate at 50 and expo at 25. Aint working like the TX though. I just now figured out how to do the idle up thing. I dont need that though. I'm still trying to hover the dang heli.

Howdy Tom,
That hover ain't easy, takes a whole heap of practice. Y'all just gotta keep'a goin'. Sounds like y'all got the rest tied down though.
