hey guys im new to this forum!
i recently bought the blitzrcworks tornado from banana hobby.
this heli was bad from the moment i opened the box.
after 8 min of indoor flight(7 min of hovering and adjusting trims)
a screw flew off the head and heli lost lift and crashed nose down causing alot af damage to the head assy.
after many contact attempts to banana hobby,im in the process of getting a refund.
here is a link to a thread, with the conversation between pete from bh an myself.
i hope this aswers your questions about this brand heli.
on a side note, she hovered really great and was very stable!
i think the supplied electronics are junk.

Hi Igotit,
I think I would have pushed the Paypal button a lot sooner, purchased May 2008 and resolved May 2009, I've never dealt with BH and I don't intend too. |

all this took place in may 09,maybe i posted the dates wrong!
pete from bh is giving me the run around i think. i shipped the heli back to him,it keeps getting returned to my usps, stating the address is incorrect. he thinks ill just give up on the refund!
no way!
i was feeling good about the way i punked him on his own forum.
i called all his bluff's,now hes playing a waiting game with me.
im about to excalate the paypal dispute even further. |

I purchased a Hughes MD 500 R.T.F. from "The Big Banana". The first thing I did was to try to charge the batt. so that I could try the thing out. The batt. charger quickly fried as soon as I plugged it in.
Banana sent me a new charger the next week, I then charged the Li-Po batt. and took the Hughes M.D. 500 for her maiden flight.
The first flight was not a good one, broke 2 of the 4 blades when the ship hit the television stand.
Second flight same thing, except that it hit the sofa.
Third flight had to be canceled, the "B" motor had burned out.
I ordered more blades and an "A" motor and a "B" motor just in case the "A" motor Takes a s##t. Received my new parts a week after I ordered them. The cost of shipping cost more than the parts.
Installed the new motor and the next flight the ship fell on its side, well to make a long story short one of the two servos quit working. I found a new site to order parts on that ships the parts U.S.P.S. for 1/4 of the price.
I can not justify the cost of shipping parts from "Banana" I think I will buy another Honey Bee instead, |
