|
|
Hi everyone.
It seems this has been asked but I can't find a straight answer.
I like the Big Lama fuslage but...
Are there "off the shelf" options for variations (specifically scale models) for the Big Lama?
What size is the Big Lama equivalent to? 250? 300? ???
I realise there are weight and fitting issues always to be considered but I would love to try some different looks for my Big Lama like a Seahawk, MD500, Huey etc. Do I stand a chance? What should I be looking for? Are there any common helis that I might see fuselages for that are pretty much the same size as a BL? |

Not to my knowlege. Mine's sprayed black and it looks mean.

Rotor size would make it a 300, but the combined motor size puts it in the 400 class, considering just a single motor makes it a 250. You don't size co-axials by the same rules as single rotor craft.

Hi Tom:
I saw on this forum that someone had put an E-Flite huey body made for the E-Flite CP Pro 2 on a Big Lama. It looked really good. They even supplied a Video of it flying. It looked real good.
I have this huey body on my Cp Pro 2. It's a real good looker. You can get it at any hobby shop that handles the E-Flite helicopters.
Good Luck.
