First flight with eSky Big Lama and Spektrum DX6i and Orange Rx. Heli handled very well over stock Tx! You get more control over settings. We had the DR/Expo for this flight set at 80/20. Flight was in a 2+ mph breeze and did exceptionally well. Video is in HD (720p). wind or not... you can definitely tell how much more responsive it is now compared to previous videos of it with the stock set up! when you told it to move forward... it moved without hesitation! very nice! Smile.
did your turnigy light kit work out ok with this set up? couldnt tell if they were plugged in or not?

Hadn't tried it yer Spoon, just trying to get used to the sticks on the Dx6i. Sweet Cool yet it was a tad breezy, but no way before would I have the control I d9id in the breeze like I had this morning. You are right as I pointed it into the wind and saifd go forward my child and it WENT! Laughing Actually for 2 mph with tiny gusts it handled very nicely. Not ideal conditions of course, but before? No way. The one and only thing I don't like is the lack of throttle hold. (isn't one in arco mode) I laid it over to look at something, had my neck strap on and bumped the throttle and stripped a gear.. No biggie, already replaced. Maybe Tom can figure out a way with Mix 2?? If not it's gonna a take a routine and discipline on my part lol.

Man the thing flies sweet. I love it!! Love having control over DR/Expo like this. Tombo is da man! Wink

Had an initial look at the chance of throttle hold in ACRO mode but it doesn't look too promising. Throttle hold is not a thing you normally use with planes.

Might stand a better chance of finding out why it does not work in HELI mode.

Tom.

Thanks Tom, yeah I had researched it myself and didn't think the TH could be done except heli mode. I'll just have to get a safety routine down is all. I'll have the E500 built this evening or in the morning and will try the heli settings with it just out chance first. If the heli settings work in it versus the BL the it's worth pursuing, if not it'll have to be Acro mode as I haven't a clue why the heli settings weren't working.
