|
|
Hi guys
I have spent countless hours (and money) in trying to get my Lama V4 flying but I cannot get it to hover nicely . I have tried adjusting servo push rods plus adjusting link on the steady bar. replaced blades, trimmed and trimmed and trimmed !!! The copter tends to either do a sort of a dance as it lifts off and is not going straight up or it falls to the left or right as it takes off. Is there anything else I can try? |

I wish I could help you but I'm not sure what to tell you. I've got a Big Esky Lama and it did hovering right out of the box. It tends to want a little left or right rudder constantly. It seems to change trim as the helicopter consumes the battery power. I'm going to leave this question to the helicopter pro's.
Hope you find help.

Could be you are just experiencing what's called
"Ground Effect Turbulence" All that wind from the rotors bouncing off the ground and back up into the rotor wash = a mess of bad air! No kidding, it really does come into play even in micro helis. Try punching it up and going for a higher hover and see if that's better. |
