Hi

So, day two of my Christmas present and a tree crash!!

Actually didn't come off too badly but the stabiliser bar on the top has broken off....any thoughts on where/if I might be able to get parts for this? If I can't get the parts is there any possibility I could use parts designed for another model?!

It's a Paroh / New York Gift Company heli, link to exact model is below;

http://XXX.amazon.co.uk/New-York-Gift-62-5cm-Hammer/dp/B009K1I7A0/ref=sr_1_36?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1388360547&sr=1-36&keywords=Paroh+Ltd

Any help appreciated!!

Hi,

Sorry to hear about so quick a crash!

Best I can offer is this outlet where you can buy the whole thing for $14.99 USD. Unfortunately, many of these models are not built for repairs, that's why we always recommend checking on the spares situation before committing yourself to a particular make/model.

Try: http://bensoutlet.com/products/hammerhead-4-channel-helicopter

I have not found any spares at all for this model and therefore could not recommend it as a first model. This is a 'Throwaway' version built to the cheapest price. Crying or Very sad

Tom.

Hi Djsban,

Welcome to the forum.

I agree with Tom your chances of getting spares is slim, if it were me I would probably look at making a replacement, a piece of CF (Carbon Fibre) rod and a couple of weights only trick is to be sure that it is perfectly balanced. The other solution is buy a new one and keep that one for spares or move up to a hobby grade Helicopter that has spares available.

Hi Djsban,

Have a look at the small coaxal helis at helipal.com they have a fare-old selection and the flybar of one might just fit you Paroh.
