Post subject: SR 120 tail motor and blade alternatives? |

Hello gang,
I know there are a lot of SR 120 boffns out there so this is for you...
I'm planning a UH 60 Blackhawk mod for my spare SR120. I've got the body shell (a new Twister fuselage) and I'm going to get bits of this kit from "Heli Scale Quality" in Germany...

Thing is, the SR 120 will be a bit under powered (to an extent that's ok with me as I want to fly it scale style) however, I'd like to have a little bit of oomph under the hood if I can. I already have an Xtreme 180 motor in place and double batteries planned for flight time.
Does anyone know if there are ANY options people have tried for SR 120 such as...
Upgraded tail motors (for more authority with a heavier extended tail boom)
Tail blades
Main blades (high lift, even at the expense of head speed if that won't screw up stability)
What say the grape vine and memory banks? |
