Hi Tampepper,

Try reducing the throttle trim all the way down, sounds like it's starting in safe mode because it's not registering zero throttle.

Hi,

First: 35mHz Tx/Rx rely on crystals and do not bind as such.

Second: Your 3-in-1 shows green when the gyro has bound and the battery voltage is Ok. It will go red when the battery voltage is low. This is normal on a co-axial heli when you apply power.

It sounds as if your battery is not up to scratch, either because of the charger or a rising internal resistance. Can you measure the voltage while the lights are flashing?

Tom.

The 3-in-1 controls both rotor motors giving lift and rudder control by adjusting their speed. You would need 2 ESCs, a gyro and mixers to match the motors to control demands. The servos would not need any sorting. Your main problem is mixing rudder and lift but it can be done.

A simpler option would be a 'Brushless conversion kit' You might find one for a similar model that will do the job.

Here's a start for you at the bottom of this page, but you will still need your 3-in-1 and you're $69 down.
