I need to make a choice between the ThunderTiger E325 & T-Rex 450.
I understand that both of them have almost similar specifications.
Even the cost is almost identical.
Some flyers say that T-Rex is a time tested & proven machine.
Others say that ThunderTiger also provides excellent quality though it has proven itself in the non-electric powered series.
I am thouroughly confused.
Can somebody suggest which one should I buy?
Should I go for the trusty T-rex 450 or consider tthe TT-325? |

Well, that is one hard question. Kind of like the chicken or the egg for electric helicopters. The thing is, those two models are both very-time tested and proven helis. T-REX by Align is praised by pilots the world over as being the premier in electric helis. At the same time, ThunderTiger - the maker of Mini Titan is also one of the most popular brand when it comes to RC helicopter, and they have been around longer than Align (I think, correct me if I'm wrong), but they've been famous since the nitro-only era.
So that's my 2C from the manufacturer perspective. |

Spare parts availability should always be the tie breaker. Go with whichever brand your local hobby shop carries. I was leaning towards Thunder Tiger myself, but nobody in my area carries them. When I'm ready to upgrade to a 450 size bird, it's going to have to be an Align since that's what I can get spare parts for. |

Totally agree with that
But just to make things a little bit more complicated for you, there's a new version (SE) version of the Mini Titan which should be better right out of the box but at the same time it does make things a little more confusing. |

For what it's worth, given all other variables being equal, go with the helicopter that asthetically appeals to you, popular or not. |
