It was just to check out this camera, newly arrived from Hong Kong,
and to see if my old "Wee Jock" co-axial could lift it. Seems it can, but the extra weight limits the flight time to about 2/3 of normal. I've got new software drivers and stabilised it somewhat now. See this still of the wife on the beach at Altura (red jacket). definately NOT the co-ax this time!
Don't find so many people about on the beach in the winter but the sand still gets in the gears . Better to fly the Pitts than the Blade as it has no gears!
Re: Frequencies here I have 35mHz for Pitts and Co-ax, 72mHz for my Yacht and 2.4gHz for the Blade. Mode 2 for flight and a crazy mix involving 3 separate levers for the yacht. |
