LOL Jack you're probably right lol, but think I got it all down now. Rolling Eyes

We'll see. I'm gonna try the Ar6100e while waiting on the 2 Orange Rx's and if there's and issue then on to the Orange Rx.

Actually this is a good thread because for months I've chased this issue and found nothing but fragmented threads with conflicting, incomplete info and confusion. Had there been this tread my issues would have been solved eons ago. So there's some real value in this thread to be passed on. Wink

Tom how do I get the gyro arrow to move????? With gyro switch correct? Switch up arrow is up, switch down arrow is down. So which position would I fly in? Pos #1 or #0 for gyro?

My apologies to all, yes Skype probably would have been better however my cam is down.Crying or Very sad The only issue left to resolve is the one above on the gyro and Tom can PM me on that if he wishes. Other than that I believe all is done and understood.

Guess it's a mute point with the Ar6100e as I have no throttle and motors won't spool. Rudder was plugged into gear, no go so tried the actual rudder slot, no go there either. Have ail and elev function fine. Oh well I tried. Will wait for the Orange Rx's and try. Hopefully with the Orange Rx it'll work and resolve the gyro question. Thanks Jack and Tom! +10 to ya both....

Well I thought my months of chasing this rabbit were over. Got both new Orange Rx's today and they both do the same thing the AR6100e does. No power to motors. Sad

Tx settings done ......... (all Tom's settings)
Throttle plugged into Throttle
Ailer plugged into Ailer
Elev plugged into Elev
Rudder from esc plugged into /gear

Have both Aileron and Elevator functions, but motors won't spool up. Same as the 6100e.

It has to be a Tx setting somewhere. We have the same Tx, same Rx and same heli so something is amiss.

I'm still, trying to figure this stuff out. I'm sure I'll get it one day but today ain't that day. But I'm not going to give up. Right now I have a motor problem I think. I have the Big Lama and the E-500. Love em both. And now both are down. The E-500 Tourqes to the right real bad. Just spins and won't even lift off. I think the rear motor is bad. Even with full left rudder it still goes right. Tomorrow I'm going to swap out the rear motor from the Lama to the rear of the E-500 and see what happens.

Working on this Tony, there's a PM on some details for you.
I'm using the exact same set-up on my 'Wee Jock' 4chnl, co-ax, heli with no problems. There must be something wrong somewhere!

Tom, you're on the right track there. As long as the motors are the same power then you should be OK.

Thanks Tom. No Pm in yet. I'll keep checking. As far as motors they are the stock BL motors.

Carr52:

I had a Big Lama. Replaced the motors several times. The stock motors are junk. The oil lite bearings just don't hold up. I sent the Big Lama overseas for the Lend lease program. The European’s put Ball bearing motors in the Big Lama and it's been a super flier ever sense. Find out where Tombo242 get's his motors and what brand they are.

You'll love them.

Here's a good link on the motors. He offers both A & B at this price, others offer only A or B and charge the same shipping for each as this man for two motors.

I did send a PM Tony,

Tom.
