Cool, I know that made you a happy camper. Looks like its running really smooth. I stripped out the lower rotor head but I thinkI have it fixed temporarily. I want to get the metal upgrades and the new motors that tombo recomended. Getting my shopping list together so I can just get it from the same seller. I hope. I'd have to say the Lama is my fovorite heli now. Its big and flies nice.

Yeah Tom a happy camper is putting it mildly after all this time. it handles so smooth. It's dialed in like a rock! I'm gonna order a couple sets or those motors too for the Bl and the E500 which I'm building this weekend and you can guess which Rx is going in it I can't believe the difference in how it handles with the DX6i!? I'll do some video of her on her maiden tomorrow out back at my home flying field. |

Good to see the video Tony - makes it all worth while.
Just a note that I have a Tombo242 channel on Youtube also, hope that doesn't confuse anyone.

Good vid Tom! I sure like the Hughes and is why I'm building it this weekend from all the stuff in my spare parts bin. I could build a spare BL, but want the Hughes. Only draw back is I hear the canopy is a nightmare to get off and on for maintenance and the cabins are of course is pretty tight.
I like flying these when not flying FP or CP. These gives me a relaxing non stress fun flying |
